nagi presents its aquatic safety system at the Dehesa Boyal swimming pool in San Sebastián de los Reyes
This Monday, June 15, the Dehesa Boyal swimming pool in San Sebastián de los Reyes hosted the presentation of the nagi system, a technological solution designed to reinforce safety, prevention and intelligent management in aquatic spaces.
The meeting took place within the framework of the official presentation of the E.P.I.C. Network (Connected Smart Swimming Pools), an initiative promoted by RFEN Aquatics together with its technology partner nagi by Zonyx and endorsed by the Higher Sports Council, with the aim of promoting innovation and digital transformation of aquatic sports facilities.
The presentation took place at the Dehesa Boyal Municipal Sports Centre – Sanse Deporte of the San Sebastián de los Reyes City Council (Madrid), a facility managed by NORDESTADA, consolidating this space as a benchmark to show how technology applied to the aquatic environment can contribute to creating safer, more connected and future-proof facilities.
The event featured a prominent institutional, sporting, and business representation.
Those in attendance included Lucía Soledad Fernández Alonso, Mayor of San Sebastián de los Reyes; Alicia Martín Pérez, Head of the Sports Service of the City Council; Javier Bosch Fonte, CEO of nagi by Zonyx; José Miguel López, Director of Institutional Relations at nagi; and Carlos Almazán Fernández, Director of Sports Infrastructure at NORDESTADA.
The event also included a delegation of Japanese executives from Panasonic, who came to see firsthand how the nagi system works at the Dehesa Boyal Sports Centre in San Sebastián de los Reyes, reinforcing international interest in new technological solutions applied to the aquatic environment.
The Royal Spanish Swimming Federation was represented by its president, Fernando Carpena, reinforcing the link between sport, innovation and new solutions applied to the aquatic field.
Technology at the service of security and intelligent management
Through nagi technology, the E.P.I.C. Network seeks to incorporate applied intelligence tools into the aquatic environment to improve the experience and safety of users, optimize the management of facilities and support the development of the different sports disciplines that take place in the water.
During the event, a demonstration of the system’s operation was carried out at the poolside, allowing attendees to see firsthand how technology can become an ally for management teams, sports professionals, and those responsible for aquatic safety.
