Cunit debuts nagi smart technology in its municipal swimming pool
The Cunit Municipal Swimming Pool has officially inaugurated the nagi smart system, marking a new milestone in the municipality’s commitment to innovation, safety, and the modernization of its sports facilities.
The inauguration event was attended by representatives from Zonyx, the company behind the development of the nagi system, as well as the Catalan Swimming Federation, which supported this initiative within the framework of the national Red EPIC project, promoted by the Spanish Swimming Federation (RFEN).
Municipal authorities were also present, including Mayor Jaume Casañas, Sports Councillor Xavier Lorenzo, and Deputy Mayor Dolors Carreras, reinforcing the institutional commitment to innovation and the improvement of local sports services.
During the event, a live demonstration of the nagi system was held. This technological solution enables real-time monitoring of swimmers, enhancing prevention measures and the responsiveness of lifeguard teams, as well as improving overall facility management. The system adds an extra layer of safety and transforms the swimming pool into a smarter, more connected, and more efficient space.
The implementation of the nagi system in Cunit further strengthens the municipality’s commitment to the digitalization of public sports services, aligning with current trends in innovation applied to sport, health, and community well-being.
With this inauguration, the Cunit Municipal Swimming Pool joins the growing network of facilities that already trust nagi, positioning itself as a benchmark in the adoption of advanced technology to enhance safety, user experience, and aquatic facility management.
