The sports facility incorporates our smart technology to enhance aquatic safety and offer swimmers a new way to understand their performance and track their progress in the water.
The Felipe VI Sports Complex in Lorca takes another step toward the digitalization of its facilities with the integration of nagi our smart technology for swimming pools which combines aquatic safety, activity monitoring, and a more connected swimming experience.
Thanks to this implementation, carried out in collaboration with Ebone, pool users can now enjoy new features that provide greater insight into their activity in the water, while facility staff have an additional tool to support supervision and risk prevention.
The implementation of the system was presented on October 6 by Lorca’s Councilor for Sports, Juan Miguel Bayonas, who highlighted the value of incorporating technological solutions that help modernize municipal sports services and improve the experience of their users.

A new way to experience swimming with nagiZone
With the arrival of nagi at the Felipe VI Sports Complex, swimmers have access to nagiZone our application that transforms every swimming session into useful data, helping them track their activity and progress.
Using a small device that attaches to one’s goggles or swim cap, the system automatically records data such as distance covered, duration of activity, and swimming pace.
This information can be accessed later via the nagiZone application, allowing each user to track their sessions, review their progress, and see their personal bests.
In this way, both those who swim for well-being and those looking to improve their athletic performance can enjoy a more complete experience, in which every lap counts.
More technology in the service of aquatic safety
In addition to enhancing the swimmers’ experience, the integration of Nagi represents an advancement in pool safety and accident prevention.
Through nagiGuard, our aquatic safety support solution, the system monitors user activity and makes it possible to identify potential risk situations, such as remaining underwater for an extended period.
When a situation requiring attention is detected, the system generates an alert that is sent directly to the rescuer’s device, facilitating the identification and verification of potential incidents.
This technology does not replace the work of rescue and lifeguard professionals; rather, it serves as a complementary tool that provides real-time information to support their efforts and contribute to a faster response in potential emergency situations.
Lorca moves toward smarter sports facilities
The introduction of Nagi at the Felipe VI Sports Complex reflects a commitment to integrating technological innovation into municipal sports facilities, placing user safety and experience at the core.
During the presentation, the Councilor for Sports, Juan Miguel Bayonas, highlighted that the value of this technology lies in its ability to combine two fundamental aspects: offering information that motivates swimmers to keep improving, and providing professionals with an additional tool to enhance safety.

At nagi, we are delighted to be part of this advancement alongside Ebone and the Lorca City Council, helping an increasing number of sports facilities offer a safer, more digital, and better-connected aquatic experience.
We continue working to transform swimming pools through technology, putting innovation at the service of people both in and out of the water.
